Brrrrrrrr as Portal Vortex thrusts into U.S. on Wednesday

Looking like our next brush with the Polar Vortex will be next week, and this is going to be a humdinger of a winter blast. This image from the GFS model shows the daytime high temperature forecast for Wednesday. Unreal! Fifteen degrees right on top of our area. Chicago could take a run at temps not seen since January of 1985.
