Dear Pelham Parents and Community Members,

We hope you will join us at 7:30 pm next Tuesday, February 12 for a reception to welcome Julia Chung, our incoming assistant superintendent for pupil personnel services. The reception will be held in the PMHS Library and light refreshments will be served.

Ms. Chung, who was appointed in January, is currently completing her time as the Director of Pupil Personnel Services for the Rye City Schools. She brings with her a wealth of experience in both special and general education and I believe she is an outstanding fit to provide leadership for our special education department, oversee our counseling services, and expand our efforts on social-emotional wellness. She will officially begin work in Pelham on March 4.

As a reminder, the previously scheduled SEPTA meeting has been cancelled and members are encouraged to attend the reception.

I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday as we welcome Ms. Chung to the Pelham community and thank you, as always, for your continued support.
