TMC presents The Gossamer Trio on Tuesday

The Gossamer Trio is an ensemble which combines the sonorities of the flute, cello and harp. The trio, which had its debut in August of 2017 in Marlborough, Massachusetts has a repertoire ranging from Bach, Ravel, Villa Lobos and Persichetti to the 21st century with a Pelham Manor Premiere of a Folk Song Suite written by Pelham’s exceptional composer and pianist William Healy.

The ensemble  is comprised of legendary flute soloist Carol Wincenc, New York Philharmonic Principal harpist and Pelham resident Nancy Allen and rising star Claire Marie Solomon cellist, Yale graduate, winner of the Jacobs Music School Concerto Competition and popular Instagram artist.

Both Wincenc and Allen are faculty members of the Juilliard School and Stony Brook U vation via email (preferred) or call the office university. Solomon maintains private teaching studios in her home in Pelham and with Atelier Constantin Pompescu in Greenwich, and coaches the cellists of The Greenwich Young Artists Philharmonic.
