Chamber of Commerce to host Wolfs Walk event Sept. 8

The Pelham Chamber of Commerce’s first event under new President Clay Bushong will take place Sept. 8 from 4 to 11 p.m., according to a press release from the Chamber. The event, called Wolfs Walk, will include live music, food and drink from vendors and a selection of stands featuring local organizations and businesses.

“With Wolfs Walk, we’re trying to create a new kind of street experience highlighting all the diverse restaurants and food purveyors, artists, designers, retailers, musicians and non-profits that make our region unique,” said Bushong in the release. “Our hope is that this highly-curated community event becomes an annual tradition and destination event for southern Westchester and beyond.”

Wolfs Walk will take place on Wolfs Lane between Second Street and Boulevard. An open mic on the Wolfs Walk stage will kick-off the event from 4 to 5 p.m., followed by the Pelham Music Arts Studio music hour from 6 to 7 p.m. Local musicians, including Andrew Cole & the Bravo Hops, Warren Banholzer and Friends, and Bridges and Powerlines, will perform on the stage throughout the evening. The street festival will also coincide with The Picture House Regional Film Center’s 4th Annual Westchester International Film Festival (WICFF).

The Chamber of Commerce provided the following details for interested vendors and sponsors:

“The Wolfs Walk committee is currently accepting vendor applications, and sponsorship opportunities are still available. Vendors will be assigned to a 5 foot x 15 foot spot along Wolfs Lane and provided with a 6 foot table. Tents and electricity will NOT be provided but can be brought in by participants at their own expense. For pricing and more information about Wolfs Walk or if you would like to apply to participate in the event please, contact [email protected]. All applicants are subject to approval by the Wolfs Walk committee.”
