Albert V. Parascandola, Jr., of Pelham passed away on Monday, Aug. 6, 2018. He was 75 years old.

Born in Brooklyn to Albert and Lena Parascandola, Al was one of three children. He was raised in Brooklyn, where he attended New Utrecht School. After graduating high school, Al met his wife of years 54, Julie Costello. They had one son Chris.

Albert will be remembered as a hardworking gentleman. He was committed to his employers. He loved fixing things, and more than anything else, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, Jessica and Gina.

Albert is survived by his wife, Julie; his son, Chris (Lisa) Parascandola, and his grandchildren, Jessica and Gina. He will be missed by his extended family and close friends.

A celebration of Al’s life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home, located at 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham, N.Y., on Thursday, Aug. 9, from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Catharine’s Church, 25 Second Ave., Pelham, N.Y., on Friday, Aug. 10, at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, N.Y.
