The Pelham Board of Education will hold an executive session Monday at 8 a.m. to discuss the employment history of “particular person(s) related to filling open seats” on the board, according to a letter from the school board.

The trustees have been interviewing candidates to fill two open seats following the resignations last month of Dr. Christa Acampora and Tom Imperato. Each had one year remaining on their terms as school board members.

The board of education’s letter on the executive session follows:

Dear Pelham Parents and Residents:

The Board of Education of the Pelham Public Schools will meet at 8 am on Monday, August 20, 2018 in the Superintendent’s Conference Room at the District’s Central Offices, 18 Franklin Place, Pelham, NY 10803. The Board is expected to meet and immediately enter into executive session to discuss the employment history of a particular person(s) related to filling open seats on the Board of Education.

No public session is anticipated and the Board will not take any action at this meeting.

The full agenda will be available for viewing 24 hours before the meeting.

Sincerely,

Pelham Board of Education ([email protected])
