New York Times Editorial Board endorses challenger Biaggi in primary battle with incumbent Klein
The New York Times Editorial Board has endorsed Democratic challenger Alessandra Biaggi over incumbent State Sen. Jeff Klein in the Sept. 13 primary balloting. The candidates are contesting the seat for Senate district 34, which is composed of the Bronx and part of Westchester County.
“Alessandra Biaggi, who describes herself pointedly as ‘a real Democrat,’ is the kind of smart, dedicated reformer so desperately needed in Albany,” according to the editorial.
