Junior League holds informational meeting Sept. 23

The Junior League of Pelham invites new and existing members of Pelham community to an informational gathering about the Junior League of Pelham on Sunday, September 23rd to learn more about the JLP’s projects for the upcoming year and how to join this vibrant group of active women and make a difference in Pelham.

The Junior League of Pelham, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of woman, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

The Junior League of Pelham has had a hand in key landmarks around town including Woodland Park, Weihman Park, Julianne’s Playground, Pelham Art Center, Pelham Children’s Center, and the Pelham Public Library and continues to focus on issues affecting families and Pelham improvements.

You’ll learn about the JLPs slate of projects for the coming year and how you can make a difference in our community. Come learn about the work that the Junior League of Pelham does, including serving the needs of the hungry in Mount Vernon and New Rochelle, feeding our children’s hunger to learn with projects at our own Pelham library and clothing those in need here and in neighboring communities.
