Athletes of the Week: Zale of volleyball and Moore and Mota-Flippen of football

Congrats to senior Cris Moore, junior Peri Zale, and sophomore Anthony Mota-Flippen who were named PMHS Athletes of the Week. In the varsity football team’s 40-22 win over Peekskill, Moore had 3 receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown while also recording 4.5 tackles, 7 assisted tackles, a tackle for a loss and a forced fumble. In the same game, Mota-Flippen rushed 6 times for 35 yards and a touchdown while also adding 6 tackles, 3 solo tackles, 7 assisted tackles, 1.5 sacks and a tackle for a loss. Zale was instrumental in the volleyball team’s wins over Rye and Ossining, notching 10 and 21 kills, respectively, with the latter marking a career high.
