Pelham school board to present updates on bond at Oct. 23 meeting

The Board of Education will meet at 8:15 pm on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 in the Pelham Middle School Library, 28 Franklin Place, Pelham, NY 10803. Prior to the public meeting, the Board is expected to meet at 7:00 pm and immediately enter into executive session in the Superintendent’s Conference room at 18 Franklin Place, Pelham, NY 10803.

At the regular business portion of the meeting, KG&D Architects will provide an update on bond implementation, including the addition to Prospect Hill, renovations to the high school/middle school, athletic fields, and environmental/sustainability at the new Hutchinson School. The Board will also conduct a work session on Pillar IV of the Strategic Plan: “Building a professional culture of learning, effective feedback and growth, for every employee, inspiring a standard of excellence for all.”

In addition to Dr. Champ’s Superintendent’s report, the agenda may include updates from each School Board committee, as well as reports on 21st Century Learning and Professional Development, Networks of Support and Social-Emotional Development, and Finances and Facilities.
