Editor’s note: This press release was provided by the Rotary Club of the Pelhams.

On Sunday, October 14, at the Pelham Country Club, the Rotary Club of the Pelhams held a very successful fundraiser (Tastings 14) honoring three exemplary volunteers—Clayton, Bushong, Josephine Catalano, and Syd Thayer.

More than 150 attendees enjoyed an afternoon of wine, food and music.

“Much appreciation goes out to Andy Johnson of Blue Dog Wines & Spirits, The Phillip James Orchestra, and 18 impeccable restaurants who donated plentiful samples of their unique cuisine.” said Betty Bucher, chairman of the Tastings Committee.

The highlight of the event was when the three honorees graciously accepted their awards and each were presented with a special citation for their charitable contributions Assemblymember Amy Paulin.

“The Rotary Club of the Pelhams thanks everyone in our community who supported this important fundraiser by either attending, making a donation and/or participating in the silent auction,” Ms. Bucher said. “Your support enables our Rotary Club to provide heart saving pediatric surgery locally and in developing countries, to offer CPR training to Pelham Middle and High School students, and to support programs and projects for children and teens in our area.”
