Di Cristofano, Aronson, Kuster, Cornachio named Athletes of the Week
Seniors Elise Aronson, Francesca Di Cristofano and Lauren Kuster, and junior Alexis Cornachio were named PMHS Athletes of the Week. Aronson had 28 digs and 9 aces while Di Cristofano added 16 kills and 9 blocks as the volleyball team won matches against Rye and Harrison and won the Pelham Booster Club Tournament by beating Westlake and Byram Hills. Despite suffering season-ending injuries early in the year, Kuster and Cornachio had a tremendous impact on the girls’ soccer team, attending each and every practice and providing selfless leadership to their teammates throughout the year.
