Angela Tribelli – Nov. 20

Angela Tribelli of Pelham Manor, New York, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018. She was 95 years old.

Born in San Cosmo e Damiano to Antonio and Teodolinda Massimo, Angela was one of three children. Angela was raised in Italy, where she would meet her future husband, Leonardo Tribelli. They would marry in Castelnuovo Parano, where they would also raise their two children.

In 1958, Angela would move to America with her husband Leonardo for a better life. She worked as a seamstress in a dress factory while living in the Bronx. She continued to raise her children in the Bronx before moving to Pelham Manor with her husband in 1983.

Angela always put family first. She retired at 50 to help raise her grandchildren. She loved to garden, cook and sew. To say she had a green thumb would be an understatement. She spent countless hours working in the vegetable and flower garden. Through the day, she loved to cook for her family and host family gatherings. Angela was also a very religious lady and attended Mass every Sunday.

Angela will be remembered as loving, energetic, passionate, organized and motherly to everyone. She was the core of her family and was loved by her many friends. She enjoyed baking for the bake sale at Our Lady of Perpetual Help every year.

Angela is survived by her son, Anthony; her daughter in law, Virginia; her grandchildren, Angela (Andrew), Leonardo (Rebecca) and Elizabeth (Justin). She is also survived by her five great grandchildren, Raffaella, Renzo, Amelia, Adriana and Aidan. She is predeceased by her husband, Leonardo. She will be missed by everyone she knew.
