Mario F. Corini – Nov. 18

Mario F. Corini, a longtime resident of Pelham, New York, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Nov. 18, 2018. He was 86.

Mario was born on Feb. 12, 1932, in the Bronx to the late Nicholas and Rosa Corini.

He was an insurance agent for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. for over 50 years. He served in the Army during the Korean War

He is survived by his wife, the former Anne Staropoli, whom he married on Oct. 3, 1954; he was a loving and devoted father of his two daughters, Cheryl Natlo and Karen Dimitriou, and Karen’s late husband, Dean Dimitriou. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, who were the love of his life: Matthew (Stefanie) Cicero, Danielle (Joseph) Williams, and Jaclyn Dimitriou and her fiancĂ©, Jonathan Milack; and also his three great grandchildren, Olivia, Marc and Chase; his two sisters, Lisa and Lola.

Visiting hours were Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle, New York. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Pelham Manor, New York. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
