Editor’s note: This press release was provide by the Pelham School District.

We are excited to announce that on Monday, December 10 the Pelham Public Schools will launch its new and improved District and individual school websites. The re-launch of our public web pages is the result of a months-long effort to improve the usability and accessibility of our online presence, streamline navigation, and update and revitalize information and resources for our community.

In order to identify priorities for our new sites, the district engaged parents and community members, teachers, administrators and other stakeholders through a community-wide survey last school year. The process that followed included interviewing of different vendors, holding focus groups on design and incorporating current best practices and accessibility standards throughout the rebuild.

The new web design is intended to give users much easier access to the most sought-after information. Efforts have been made to update and refresh outdated materials, streamline where content is stored and enhance the usability of the sites.

While the vast majority of content has been migrated to the new sites, it is our expectation that we will continue to add, update, tinker and revise over the next few months. If you notice that there are important resources missing on the new site, please contact your school building principal directly or reach out to the Public Information Officer, Alex Wolff.

We appreciate your patience during this transition and hope that this upgrade will improve communication between the District and our community.
