No candidates stepped forward Thursday to run for mayor or the two open trustee positions in Pelham Manor at the village’s Democratic caucus.

The caucus did elect Toby Marxuach-Gusciora as caucus chairwoman, Tara Weishaupl as secretary and Seth Cohn as caucus teller.

The candidates chosen at next week’s Pelham Manor Republican caucus will likely run unopposed in the March 19 voting.

“We’re grateful to community residents who volunteer their time and effort to run the village, whatever their party, and we look forward to working with them to keep the Manor the wonderful community it is,” said Pelham Democratic Chairwoman Marilyn Zielinski.
