Con Ed to continue work on new gas line along Washington; parents dropping at Prospect urged caution
Con Edison will continue to work on a new gas line along Washington Avenue from Peace Street to Oak Lane, according to the Village of Pelham Manor.
Next week, the crews will begin work on Peace Street between Washington Avenue and Jackson Avenue. Work on this block is anticipated to be completed in one week.
“Parents dropping off and picking up school children at the Prospect Hill Elementary School are urged to use caution in the construction area,” the emailed statement said.
