Plans for the construction of the new Hutchinson School are progressing and we are on schedule to begin site preparation work this summer. This work, which is necessary to complete before construction of the new building can begin, includes the building of an access road off Lincoln Avenue, landscaping and tree clearing, and removal of a significant amount of rock from the Hutchinson property.

A meeting about the Hutchinson site preparation will be held at 7 pm on Monday in the Hutchinson School Gym. While this meeting is primarily intended for members of the Hutchinson community, the broader Pelham community is welcome to attend. At this meeting, representatives from KG&D Architects, and Triton Construction Management will be on hand to discuss the site preparation process and answer questions. Consultants from Tectonic Engineering and Surveying, which the District retained to provide monitoring and surveying services during the rock removal process, will also present at the meeting.

We look forward to beginning work on the Hutchinson site and working with the community to ensure that all construction activities are completed efficiently and with minimal disruption to the neighborhood.
