Final Pelham Gazebo concert offers great vocals on beautiful summer night

The final Pelham Gazebo concert played out last night during a beautiful summer evening with a great crowd in attendance.

A little boy and his grandma danced together before the show.

With Jimmy Russo singing old songs and Pelham-born Jackie DiMaggio singing more modern tunes, it was a hit with people of all ages. Some women danced to some of the old songs. Tenor Christopher Macchio was also on the bill.

In the audience, Silvana said, “I have been coming here for years, and I am not even from Pelham. I am from the Bronx.”

People watched on lounge chairs, while Nancy the ice cream lady handed out treats for people to enjoy. Concertgoers brought their dogs and children to watch the wonderful concert.

“I didn’t like it, I loved it!” Silvana said.
